Any purchase made directly from Cargo Butler™, online or through our call center, is covered by this policy. In the event our product is defective and/or you are not completely satisfied, simply return the product with your proof of purchase (i.e.: order confirmation, receipt, bill of sale, UPC code, photos of the product, and the production date code stamped on the unit) and reason for returning within 90 days from receipt of the package to receive your refund.

• 90 days from delivery to decide.

• Unopened — full refund. We cover the return shipping label.

• Opened or used — refund minus a restocking fee. The fee varies by your delivery location (see table below).

• Defective on arrival — full refund or free replacement, every time. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

• Trial Plan customers — remaining bi-weekly installments are cancelled when you return.

• The Lifetime Warranty is a separate, optional add-on (see the warranty page).

You have 90 calendar days from the date your kit is delivered (per the carrier's tracking) to start a return. Returns initiated after day 90 are not eligible for a refund. Processing and handling charges, where applicable, are not refundable.

If the outer shipping box is unopened (factory seal intact, no tape cut, no labels removed) we will issue a full refund of every cent you paid, including original shipping if any. We'll email you a prepaid return shipping label — you don't pay a thing.

If you've opened the box and installed the kit (or partially installed it), you can still return it within the 90-day window. We'll refund the purchase price less a restocking fee that varies by your delivery location. The restocking fee covers the cost of inspecting, cleaning, repackaging, and (where required) discounting the kit for resale as open-box.

Example: a $174.97 Short Bed Kit returned opened from California (continental U.S.) → refund = $174.97 − $26.25 restocking fee = $148.72 back, minus your return shipping cost.

If your kit arrives damaged, missing parts, or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll send a free replacement (or a full refund, your call). No restocking fee, no return shipping cost — we cover everything. Please include photos of the damage when you email us.

If you chose the Trial Plan ($49.99 today + 3 more bi-weekly payments via Shop Pay) and you return the kit during the 90-day window, the remaining installment payments are cancelled as part of the return process. Any payments you've already made will be refunded according to the rules above (full refund if unopened; less restocking fee if opened).

Contact our Customer Service Department by email at cs@buycargobutler.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. We pledge to respond within 48 hours (Monday through Friday) on all requests.

For your security, please return your package with an insured carrier (e.g.: UPS, FedEx, USPS Parcel) and retain a receipt for your records. This will protect you in the event that the item is damaged or lost in transit.

Once we receive and inspect the return (typically 3–5 business days after arrival), your refund is issued to the original payment method. Expect 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Items that have been excessively worn, used, or altered are not eligible for return or exchange. Products with intentional physical damage are also excluded from this policy. The optional Lifetime Warranty add-on fee ($39) is non-refundable once 90 days have passed; it is refundable within the 90-day window if the kit is also returned.

Cargo Butler™ currently ships only to the continental United States. There are no refunds or exchanges for any orders shipped internationally through forwarding services.
