Every Cargo Butler™ kit ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, free of charge. Upgrade to our Lifetime Warranty at checkout for just $39 and lock in coverage for life.

What the Lifetime Warranty Covers

Manufacturing defects in any of these components

  • Power Panels (with Snap-Lock™ joints)
  • Edge Strips
  • Cargo Walls
  • Caps
  • The patented QuickAccess Hinge™
  • The Pull Handle

If any of these components fail under normal use because of a manufacturing defect, we'll send a free replacement — for life, as long as you're the original purchaser and you own a registered Cargo Butler™ kit.

What It Doesn't Cover

  • Normal wear and cosmetic damage (scuffs, scratches, fading from UV exposure) that doesn't affect function.
  • Damage from improper installation, abuse, modification, or use outside the intended purpose (e.g., installing in a vehicle other than a pickup-style truck bed without our approval).
  • Damage from accidents, collisions, fires, floods, or other extraordinary events.
  • Products purchased second-hand or from unauthorized resellers.
  • Loss or theft of the kit or any component.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Email cs@buycargobutler.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the affected component.
  2. Our team replies within 48 business hours with a warranty determination.
  3. If the claim is approved, we ship the replacement component to you free of charge. You don't need to return the defective part unless we specifically request it (rare; mostly for engineering analysis).

How to Add the Lifetime Warranty

The Lifetime Warranty is offered as a $39 add-on at checkout. Look for the "Lifetime Warranty" upgrade option after you add your Cargo Butler™ kit to cart. It cannot be added after your purchase, so be sure to select it during your initial order.

Transferability

The Lifetime Warranty is tied to the original purchaser and the original Cargo Butler™ kit. It is not transferable to a new owner if you sell your kit or your truck.

Refunds & Cancellation

The $39 Lifetime Warranty fee is refundable within the 90-Day Bed Test window if you also return your kit (see our 90-Day Bed Test Return Policy). After day 90, the Lifetime Warranty fee is non-refundable but remains active for the life of your kit.
